Locating the nameservers
- Log in to the Phanes Cloud client area.
- Navigate to the
Services
section.
- Locate your web hosting service and click on it.
- In the service details page, find the tab labeled
Nameservers
and click on it.
- You will see the current nameservers assigned to your web hosting service. Copy them for the next steps.
Configuring the nameservers for your domain
To attach your domain name to your web hosting service, you will need to update the nameservers associated with your domain. This can typically be done through your domain registrar's control panel.
- Log in to your domain registrar's control panel and locate the DNS management or nameservers settings.
- Replace the existing nameservers with the ones provided by Phanes Cloud.
- Save the changes and allow some time for the DNS propagation to take place.
- Once the DNS propagation is complete, your domain name will be successfully connected to your Phanes Cloud web hosting servers.
Please note that DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours, so your website may not be immediately accessible after updating the nameservers.
